What is the Zero Degrees Festival About?

The Zero Degrees Festival is a Louth-based, independent, not-for-profit, community organisation, run entirely by volunteers, and with its roots firmly in the community. The primary aim of the festival is to broaden and enrich the cultural experiences Louth can offer to local residents and visitors, and also to inspire and encourage people to participate in those activities. The long term aim is to establish Louth as a festival town, regionally and nationally, and in so doing fulfill a further aim, which is to support the local economy.

Happy 10th birthday, Zero Degrees! It's great to see how the festival has grown in both size and diversity since those early years into something of which Louth can feel extremely proud. Congratulations to all those who have worked tirelessly to make this happen. And to the residents of Louth - please continue to give Zero Degrees your support.  Here's to the next 10 years!

Every one has been full of stimulating and entertaining events around our town: it’s always great to see Louth become more animated at such times, and it really is worth checking out what’s on where in advance.
So meanwhile, I am very happy to be a patron of this extra-special occasion.
