Growing together with businesses in Louth

Rachel Barrett, Duncan & Toplis

Duncan & Toplis Accountants has been a part of the community in Louth for 13 years. In that time, we’ve seen the town grow and transform, businesses expand and new names join us here in our corner of Lincolnshire, and we’re looking towards a future of opportunities.

From charitable donations to helping organisations realise their potential with accountancy and business support, our team enjoys being at the heart of the town.

We proudly acquired the practice of Oxley Coxon accountants at 15 Chequergate, Louth in 2007 and have operated from there ever since. This year, however, there are some big changes ahead for our team.

At the end of 2019, plans to build a new £1.5m office in Louth were given the go-ahead and, with the support of Stirlin Developments, we’re now gearing up to build contemporary offices to accommodate our growing team this summer.

This will see our team of more than 20 accountancy professionals move from our current site in the centre of Louth to larger, purpose built premises on Fairfield Industrial Estate. This is an exciting milestone for our team, and we’re looking forward to sharing the journey with the community and opening the doors to our new office.

There’s a great deal of potential in Louth and we’re committed to investing in the area so we can continue to provide a range of services to the local businesses that we have come to know so well over the years.

As well as business development, we’re supporting charities and events that are meaningful to our team, our clients and the wider community.

From raising money for community causes to sponsoring local events, the Duncan & Toplis team regularly comes together to raise money to support worthwhile charities and organisations in Lincolnshire and beyond.

A prime example of this is our annual Christmas present appeal, which collects new and unused toys for vulnerable and disadvantaged children in the community. Each year, hundreds of toys are collected, putting smiles on many young faces at Christmas.

Our team is always enthusiastic to host charity days such as Macmillan Coffee Morning, Wear it Pink Day and Christmas Jumper Day for Save the Children – especially when cake is involved!

The future is looking bright for Louth and Lincolnshire, and we’re looking forward to being a part of what’s to come.
