New for Zero Degrees Festival 2023, 'Intermission' presents something quite different and unique for Louth! Jayne Cooper (visual artist), Keith Angel (sound artist) and Lucy Lumb (creative producer) have created a 3-D artwork installation with new visual and sound artworks by the artists, alongside creations made during school and public workshops in the lead up to the festival. We hope those who took part will come along to see how their contributions have been incorporated into the artwork!
Entitled 'Intermission', inspired by the charming mid-way break in films at Louth's Playhouse Cinema, the project encourages you to pause, to explore and to wonder what will happen next. Audiences will be invited to get up close to view the artwork and listen to the soundscape.
